Introduction
To overhaul and keep mechanical equipment and machine parts in good repair according to specifications in the workshop. Duties include laying out, assembling, aligning and installing equipment as well as doing preventative mechanical maintenance in and around the plant and on utilities and bulk chemical storage tanks.

Co-Worker effectiveness:
Work as a team as a department and interdepartmentally.
Liaise with Production to work within the confines of the OHS Act,

Report to relevant plant operator/ supervisor.
Business Process
Review, maintain and continually update all loop drawings and spec sheets. To be able to work alone and adhere to all laid down electrical & mechanical norms and standards. Input info into pc format.
Have a sound knowledge of THS standards
Report to relevant plant operator/ supervisor
Daily inspection and walking of the plant. Respond to ONkey Job Card and Breakdowns.

Minimum requirements
N3 Certificate
Qualified Fitter/Tunner
Trade Tested (Preferably throuh Olifantsfontein oe equvalent )
Exposure to computerized maintenance system (Pragma Or SAP )
